QMotor - Qatar Petroleum (QP) has significantly reduced the price for super and premium grade petrol for the month of May 2020.
This morning, QP published on its website the new prices for May which showed that premium grade petrol will cost QR1.00 per litre in May, which is 25 dirhams less than the price in April and Super will be available for QR1.05 per litre, a reduction of 25 dirhams as compared to last month. Diesel will cost 25 dirhams less in May and is priced at QR1.05 per litre.
These prices are the same petrol prices which were Qatar in 2015. The reduction is significant in April and March.
In April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had started pegging the fuel prices to the international market and from September 2017, it is Qatar Petroleum who is announcing the monthly price list.
