Petrol prices in Qatar will come down by Dh5 a litre next month while there will be no change in the Diesel price in August, the Ministry of Energy & Industry has announced. According to the ministry, that the Diesel will remain at QR1.50 while the 95-octane premium gasoline will be lowered to QR1.50. super gasoline's cost has been lowered to QR1.60.
Fuel prices in Qatar were regulated in response to changes in the global market from June 2016. A special committee reviews fuel prices every month and make recommendations on proposed prices for the local market accordingly.
